Friday Fives 2-15
1. What was the first thing you ever cooked?
I have NO clue.
2. What's your signature dish?
Now? Monterrey Chicken. Yummy. You take two chicken breasts and season with garlic, kosher salt, pepper, a tiny bit of basil and cumin. Then you put in a pan with a half an inch of water and put the seasoning in the water. Then you cut onions and red and green bell peppers and put all over the chicken and bake. When done melt a slice of monterrey jack cheese on top and serve on a bed of spanish rice with refried beans and salad.
3. Ever had a cooking disaster?
I can't cook meatloaf or fish to save my life. It never comes out.
4. If skill and money were no object, what would make for your dream meal?
I am not all that into cooking. So I don't know. Maybe steak and lobster.
5. What are you doing this weekend?
Revelling in being pregnant! :) Watching a movie tonight with the youth, tomorrow I may go to see A Walk to Remember and Sunday relax.
