Salem - 1 Year Old

Salem is a year old! Can you imagine? I simply cannot! She had a cardiology appt on the 30th. She did fall asleep right before her echo but woke up halfway through all freaked out. She cried forever and went through another crying jag when we got home. Her mytral valve leak is looking like it's gone - the stenosis is the same but the thickening looks slightly better. So he changed her dosage and she goes back in January. She weighed 17'14'. I breathed a sigh of relief. I am always SO nervous at these appts. Then on the 2nd we had her yearly update. She got 2 shots - I deferred the MMR til 15 months and am going to get it in 3 separate doses like Dr. Stephanie Cave suggests. I said no to the chicken pox for now. She weighed 18'4' there and that's why I go by in her baby book and she was 28'4'. She also had a geneticist appt yesterday but I will post that in a new entry cause that's a long drawn out story in and of itself. But my baby is one. She had a great birthday and I need to post all about that in another entry as well.
